The Buddhist prayer for anxiety
It’s called the Compassion of Buddha. It goes “Om Mani Padme Hum” which translates as “hail to the jewel in the lotus.” This is the mantra of the Compassion of Buddha, and it is said to calm fears, soothe concerns, and even mend broken hearts.
Did you recognize this mantra? It’s the same mantra Professor GrandMaster Lin Yun gave us to empower the feng shui cures when we put them in place. It makes the cures, be it a crystal, a plant, a stone, a symbol, a goal, etc. between 10 – 110 % more effective depending on our own power of manifestation. It is also used with the ousting mudra (had gesture) to remove any evil intention or bad luck in that area you put the cure. This brings a powerful cure filled with good intention and brings more peace of mind.
What is Karma?
In Christianity the bad things we do are called sin and the effect of sin will return according to the principle, “As you sow, so will you reap”, which is really the same as karma.
In the Buddhist tradition, karma refers to action driven by intention (cetanā) which leads to future consequences. Those intentions are considered to be the determining factor in the kind of rebirth in samsara, the cycle of rebirth.
