Happy Chinese New Year of the White Rat

Feng Shui Design wishes you a very Happy Chinese New Year of the White (metal) Rat 2020

Doing the happy skate dance for a great year

Bees extract the nectar of flowers

But to their honey humans lay claim

Oxen till the fields for crops to grow

But rats swarm in and eat the grain.

H.H.Professor Lin Yun

This poem by Professor Lin tells us that rats are seen as the lucky little creatures that are blessed with rewards that they did not have to work for. In the tantric Buddhist pantheon the deity of wealth is portrayed with a rat in his hand. This creates the association of wealth to the rat. Hopefully this will be a year of abundance and good luck for us all.

In China, this is the time of year to clean houses and travel to visit houses of family and friends to celebrate the Lunar New Year for as long as two weeks. Unfortunately most travel is being curtailed to avoid spreading the Corona virus. Let’s visualize this virus being stopped in its tracks.

You can do the “Golden Cicada sheds its Skin “ ritual now or on your birthday to correct any imbalances for the year. Also be sure your 2020 temporary cures are in place by February 5th.
