Feng Shui Tips for Surviving Winter

1. Stuck inside the house? Clean it now – especially before Chinese New Year. Sweep out the old energy now. Do some symbolic dusting.
2. Prepare for the Lunar New Year. Remove your temporary cures for the year of the Dragon (2024) and clean your permanent feng shui cures – crystals wind chimes, etc. , between the hours of 11 – 1 am or pm. Celebrate and invite success for 2025. Do this by February 5th, 2025.
3. Take another look at the bagua (love, money, career, health, children, fame, helpful people, safe travel, knowledge, etc.) Have your goals shifted? What do you need to work on in your life/ Find that area of the building and clean it up. Add your intention and a feng shui cure to help make it happen. Use your house to help you in your life.
4. Do some home maintenance. Oil any squeaky doors. Wash the inside of the windows, if they are dirty. it will enlighten your attitude to do so.
5. Consider some small home improvement projects. If you can do it yourself, painting a wall an accent color is a relatively inexpensive way to make a difference .
6. Take inventory in your basement. – this area represents you subconscious mind.. Is here anything there you don’t need?
7. Look at seed catalogs or magazines. Go to garden shows or walk around in a green house. Plan your summer garden or a landscaping project.
8 Shovel your sidewalk. Keeping a clear pathway to your front door is a good career move/builder
9. Some animals hibernate during the winter, maybe your ought to go take a nap.
